Survivor: Starbucks

 

I'm a survivor! I solo-ed on my last day of attachment at Tanglin Mall. Hakim pang seh me coz he sick. I thought a replacement had been found. Turned out that the messaged reached the SM too late. Thus, ended up only Leo (the SM) and I on shift. Dusk at Tanglin should be uber quiet. But somehow, a big bunch of ang mos raided Starbucks. Starbucks then was filled with ang mo kias, lols. Closed outside and inside was shared by Leo and I.

I never got to totally close the Mastrena, sadded. Love how the Mastrena works man! I hope our stall’s Verismo spoil faster and replace them with Mastrena. Wahaha!

Dunno why, the SM’s name reminds me of chemistry classes. Its actually Leomer, which my mind kept interpret it as polymer. LeoMER, polyMER – geddit? Lols. Imagine there is such a polymer known as leomer. Wahaha! Lol, chemistry…

Three days at Tanglin was an eye opener. Alot of expatriates, ang mos, kim mos, whatever mos you name (No pun intended). Its not the usual people you’ll meet at suburban stores, like Civic. While most of the customers there are nice, there are still stuck-up people obviously. My perception wasn’t totally wrong when I was told I’m gonna attached there. But nope, my mood will never be spoilt just because of demanding customers. Haha!

Not forgetting the partners of Tanglin, they’re nice people too! Oh, I also got to see two of my in-class instructors on my first day of attachment! I think they don’t recognize me bah, then I also didn’t try to interact much with them coz they’re just there for awhile. Lols.

I still can’t believed I did a solo during closing, and the irony is that I managed to finish on time. I thought it’ll take eons for me to close, some more there were unexpected crowds just at the last hour of our opening hours. Lols.

I don’t mind going back SB-TG as an attachment partner, like the ambience and cool partners. I actually missed SB-CV on my first day at SB-TG already! Wahaha! Well, am gonna do closing later back at Civic!
