Day 9 (Countdown: 131 days left)

Gonna cut the crap and shorten the blog. Coz nobody is reading it, so might as just just say out the main points to refresh my memory.

Morning shift, 9am, did opening. Set up alfresco. Only to find out I get the setting wrong again. I placed the napkins with the knives while it should be with the forks. Damn the birds and rain, got shit on the chair sia. Now you know why my life is shitty? Lols.

Supposed to open lounge also, but the mistake above delayed me and Kim helped me with the lounge instead. Then went to help up in the indoor settings. Stupid, my vest and apron haven't came back from the laundry, in the end have to wear Rashidi's one, too tight lah...

Roll-call time, got to learn that Susan left the system. *SOBS* My favourite manager just went off lidat. Damn shocked and sad sial. Really, the turnover is too scary. I wonder if I could survive another 4 plus months. Some more still heard others transferring to other places and some already bend on leaving liao. The more I hear I more sian sia.

Anyway, today at last, I did inside. But I think I didn't impress anyone at all. I can feel my face is glum, as in like service was fine but dunno why my face very hard to smile. Stress bah, I think. Brain was my buddy and he kept telling me its gonna be easy and whatnot. Briefed me already, then the guests all slowly arrived. Got one large table, 12 guests, all company's people. Brian kept telling me to concentrate on the big groups, they more important. Lols. I'm not familiar with the procedures, plus the food all come out I cannot recognize. Like useless lidat, damn shitty feeling. I can feel Brian wasn't pleased with me lah. What to do? Menu never memorize well, never seen how the food looks like. How to help sia? Plus, they no captains order, really very hard to take orders sia. Especially taking their coffee and tea order. Damn pek chek, got one guests just like point this this this, coffee, that that that, tea. Some more so bluntly and fast, how to catch? I no choice but to go one round ask to confirm. Lols.

After lunch, was deployed to lounge. Straight shift always lidat de. At there swat flies again. Lols. Okay lah, got 2 tables to serve. Then I got to do latte and iced coffee myself wor! Coz nobody there, so I DIY lor. Wahaha! No bad, can manage. But of course must speed up lah. Lols. Then its like all the way nothing liao, then tried to memorise the menu abit more. Sigh... My brain really like cmi. Lols.

Should be knocking off at 6pm. But Izzy still want me to go give out flyers at 6.15pm. Wtf, nevermind. I did, and as usual, I'm a pro at giving flyers la. Got it done my 6.35pm or 6.40pm. Pro si bo.. Wahaha!!! They kept saying SO FAST?! Lols. Then I'm done for the day!

Before I went, I had staff meal. Don't waste ma, can eat why not? LOLS. Then Izzy changed my Thursday shift to 9am to 6pm. Woohoo, another straight shift lah! Love it! Lols.
