My First, But Not My Last

My first practical test at the kitchen today. Not good, but not bad either. Good because I managed to present all my vegetable cuts, soup and main course on time. Bad because I’ve exceeded the time given for washing up. I think exceeded by 30 minutes (1/3 of marks deducted)? That makes 1 hour of cleaning up sia. I myself also thought my cleaning up was uber slow today. The table beside me was uber fast. After my assessing of my main course, the next table is already wiped and sparkling clean.

Am kinda surprised what I can do within 2 hours. Thought I’d be late for assessment, but turned out everything was fine. Food-wise, I’d say I got the flavours right – most of them. I officially can carve a chicken without the help of my buddy, yayness! I’m so proud of myself lah, wahaha! Just hope I’ll be able to secure a good percentage for this test.
